Stewart's Hotdog at the
Women's Health Expo

Day 115 Monday April 25th

Stephen Alexander is 2 months old today. He's been fussing and chewing on the
end of his bottle instead of drinking, so we introduced him to his teething ring.
He loves it!

Thinking about it

Trying it

Oh yea!

It's the bomb!

Day 114 Sunday April 24th

Easter Goodies!

Dividing up the spoils from the egg hunt

A letter from the Easter Bunny

Day 113 Saturday April 23rd

This is our book club book we discussed this evening. I enjoyed having dinner with the Barbour family and discovered I love salmon burgers. I totally loved listening to this audio book and am looking for more books written by Ted Dekker.

Day 112 Friday April 22nd

Baby Tigger's 8 week birthday. He's our chunky monkey and we love him.

Day 111 Thursday April 21st

More mall walking:
. Heather supervised Olivia at the mall play area while Mike and I walked laps.

Day 110 Wednesday April 20th

Our Tulips are beginning to bloom, and since I wouldn't allow
Olivia to pick them, she made me this gorgeous flower arrangement instead.
I love it...except when we turn on the ceiling fan...lol.

Day 109 Tuesday April 19th

Ashley went to Co-op school to work on the yearbook
she is making for EAGLE, while I caught up on housework.

A few of my favorite shots:

Heather

Our cousin Warren

Olivia at the October skating costume event

Philip making decorations for the 4-H Camp

Rachel, Tabby, Heather, and Olivia at the Winter Dance

Day 108 Monday April 18th

Mall Walking:
Mike and I have started walking as often as possible at the mall. We've run into lots of friends...Rose and Taylor in the photo, Dr. Moses, Glenna, and the three amigos...Amy, Michelle, and Wendy. I'm thrilled that I'm over the 'hump' and my fibro pain is starting to lessen. Walking always makes it hurt worse before it gets better, so now I just need to keep it up so I don't have to start over. :o)

Day 107 Sunday April 17th

Mike took Olivia and her puppies to meet the Easter Bunny at
Complete Petmart in B'ville to help raise money for area animal rescue centers.
Some friends from school were there...Lynn Watkins and Jill Goheen.
I'm glad Mike was able to meet them.

Day 106 Saturday April 16th

Baby Alex had a growth spurt this week. He gained a pound and a half and is up to 12lbs 13oz. He can roll from his stomach to his back and from his back to his stomach. He can support his weight on his feet for brief periods. He lifts his head and torso up with his forearms when I lay him on his stomach. He smiles, coos, *talks* to me, and laughs. He's a joy.

Day 105 Friday April 15th

I'm in pain, sleep deprived, my head is not on straight, and feel like a fool for thinking I could depend on anyone to help me.  My sitter bailed on me last minute...actually I had already picked her up, and she asked me to drop her off to meet a boyfriend instead of sitting for me.  My needs don't seem to matter to anyone until they have to dig my grave. This is the part of having another baby that I dreaded and had hoped wouldn't become a reality, but it has. Nobody gets it unless they've been there.  I ask for help, and when nobody can be bothered, I feel like a fool for putting myself in this position to begin with.

Day 99 Saturday April 9th

Nikki has the cutest baby bump ever! And she is such a trooper. She didn't stop until every last gift was opened. Her family and friends poured out the love on her and little Katelynn Grae like I've never seen before. It was such a blessing to be there.

Many of Nikki's gifts were handmade and soooo beautiful!

My friend Alice, and her daughter Klara...love you gals!

Day 98 Friday April 8th

Olivia enjoyed making angels in the packing peanuts from my soap shipment.

Day 97 Thursday April 7th

Philip's friends Taylor and Josiah are in town,
and he spent the night with them at their grandpa's house.
They went driving at the cemetery.

Day 96 Wednesday April 6th

While Heather was taking her state test with Melinda,
Olivia and I hung out at the Barboursville Library.

Day 95 Tuesday April 5th

Fresh out of the tub!

Day 94 Monday April 4th

Wow I've really gotten behind. I collapsed from exhaustion two weeks ago and am still not sure I've fully recovered. But I figured out a way to get sleep when I need it, and to exercise... so maybe things will improve soon. Now lets see what I can do to catch up with my 365 project.

Olivia looks forward all month to playing with
her friend Heidi at Homeschool project day

Heather, Hayden, Ashley, Heidi, Olivia, and Philip playing Bananagrams

to meet Stephen and wish Ashley a happy birthday.

The birthday girls...
Ms. Roslyn and Ashley share a birthday today.

Day 92 Saturday April 2nd

We finished Ashley's shirt...

And then Heather pointed out that we have a typo...oops.

Ashley's birthday party at the skating rink in Altizer.

Playing Bananagram.

Day 91 Friday April 1st

Wii Fit has a sense of humor today.

Olivia put worms in our fruit baskets...and these
are no ordinary worms. They like grapefruit too!

Heather made Philip's lunch:

Is that an ant in his lemonade?

Day 90 Thursday March 31st

Ashley and I are working on making a homeschool
graduation T-shirt...My birthday gift to her.

Day 89 Wednesday March 30th

Heather and I picked up the cookies we ordered...
It was great to visit with our friends Nancy and Nicole.
Ashley picked up a few extra boxes for Hayden's party Friday.
Happy Birthday Hayden!

Day 88 Tuesday March 29th

I bought new towels for each member of the family, and Olivia loves hers so much she chose to wear it most of the day at home instead of going to the Highlands museum. She also wanted me to promise to start using fabric softener to keep it as soft as it is new...lol. No chance of that, but I use white vinegar in the rinse cycle, and hopefully it will do the job.

We are loving Stephen Alexander's outfit today as well.
On a side note, Heather has started calling him Alexander Salamander,
and I think it is sticking.

He does sometimes have a bit of a reptilian look to him...
